My New Year’s Resolution

There are still a few things I want to get posted from 2012(hopefully that happens), but since it’s January 1st, 2013, it’s time to talk shit! A few years ago, if someone mentioned something about a New Year’s Resolution, I would’ve laughed in their face, “Those don’t work!” But when I made one for 2012, I was determined to make it happen. What was it, you ask? I resolved to cut loose of all the assholes in my life. What do I mean, you ask? Exactly what I said. I wanted to cut out all the jerks and assholes from my life and not let them affect me anymore. Worked pretty well, might I add!

But before I go on to explain what my 2013 resolution is, let’s take a look back on my 2012 year of blogging!

If you didn’t know, WordPress likes to give each blogger an annual rundown of what happened in the past year! So in 2012, I received a total of 32,000 views! That’s 10,000 more than 2011! AHH! It’s insane! I don’t even know who I should thank! I wrote a grand total of 65 posts(that’s it?) and uploaded 544 photos. Pictures are great, guise <3 Even though my busiest day did have 221 views, it was actually December 6th versus April 15th(typo?). I’m not even sure how, I hadn’t written anything for about 2 weeks by that time HAHA!

Apparently, AKB48 was in everyone’s minds during 2012(even thought no one commented *cough*). Next was my disappointment of After School, a Risako PB review, my favorite K-pop songs of 2011, and Rino Sashihara’s scandal.

The search terms don’t surprise me. It seems that people always find my blog using the one term that I’ve used only once. I believe I’ve written about After School a grand total of 5 times, Tomomi Itano once, Atsuko Maeda once, and CAMEL TOE. REALLY? I’VE MENTIONED THAT WORD ONCE. EVER. -__- Of course, the lovely IdolMinded and International Wota have sent me the most views by advertising my blog without me even requesting! I’m shocked by Hello! Online… I’ve never even posted there. And whoa! Nia’s blog has been helping me out, too! Thanks! :D

NyNy is a very loyal commenter! I love seeing her comments in my notifications! -=o=- posted on my Adventures in Somerset, NJ post and was a very good friend of mine back in the day. Alvy is an awesome fellow blogger and I get extremely giddy inside when I see comments by him! number244 has a blog of their own and posted on my Top 10 Favorite Songs recently! Thank you! Not sure why NyNy is on there twice LOL.

With that all said and done, what does 2013 have in store for this blog? I plan to write a whole lot more than I did previously. I know it might seem like an empty promise, but I’m determined. September 2012 was my best and most accomplished month of all 2012, so I’m very proud of that. With the even more hectic life I’m going to be living from now on, I want my blog to be an escape–a safe haven. I really plan on doing more and enjoying it.

In addition, I want to thank Ray of IdolMinded for always including my posts in his recommendations. It makes me feel so great to know that people really trust your opinion enough to click that link. Plus, I always look forward to whatever humorous feedback you have about it! I wanna give a shout out to NyNy for commenting almost every post! It’s great to hear your opinion. Lastly, I want to poke Nia and Alvy for inspiring me to push even further when it comes to my writing. You both are fantastic writers and I really love every post you write. Stay awesome.

So what about that 2013 Resolution? My New Year’s Resolution not only benefits me but maybe you guys, too! I plan on creating at least one graphic for every H!P girl’s birthday. Whether it’s a signature set or a wallpaper, each girl is going to get something pretty and different for their time of year! It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, but never really pushed myself. Now since I’ve decided that I want to major in Graphic Design, it’s time to put my skills to the test!

As for my blog, this year I’ll be starting polls! I think I finally get enough daily views to get some good results. Starting today(check the bottom of the page), I’ll have polls running biweekly and let you know the results in their own separate posts! Look out for those!
