So, Tsunku has decided to, yet again, distract me from the daily distractions of life(Resident Evil, homework, and VIXX). Unfortunately, I have yet to decide whether this shit Tsunku smacked me in the face with is worth my avert of attention.
Hello! Project has been spitting out releases like clockwork. An amazing summer should lead to a promising autumn, right? It might be a little too early to determine, but you can decide. Here’s a look at the upcoming H!P releases.
Welcome back to another edition of Top! Series! Last week, I explained my favorite female K-pop groups and artists. This week, I bring you the male counterpart! This edition might not be as lengthy, but it’s definitely worth your time~ Here you have, my Favorite Male K-pop Groups/Artists!
The first and last original album to be released by AKB48’s older sister group, SDN48. I, for one, was in love with the group and it’s fairly recent “disbandment” crushed my soul. But here I am, reviewing Yuuwaku no Garter which released on March 28th, 2012. My favorites are bolded! Let’s get this sexy time started~
Oh. My. God. It has literally been almost a year since I posted a Top! Series post @__@ That makes me sad. That should make you sad, too. But no worries, my friends! Today, I will be posting the twelfth edition of Top! Series! Here you have my Favorite Female K-pop Groups & Artists…of all time~!
If you didn’t read my Top 10 J-pop songs of 2011, you should know that I haven’t been overly impressed by Perfume. Don’t get me wrong, Perfume is one of my favorite J-pop groups ever. But, the past two years or so has been filled with hit-or-miss songs with a stale overall feel. I couldn’t put my finger on what needed a change.
I was REALLY not expecting to write about this, but Tsunku has decided that he will NOT allow me to talk about anything else but Hello! Project today. What will I be talking about today, folks? Morning Musume’s 11th generation winner!
For whatever reason, I had a dream the other night starring Psy. I saw him on the VMA’s and it got me thinking: when will everyone get tired of him? Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally digging Psy and his fame around the world–it’s absolutely amazing. But when I saw an article stating that Psy had signed with international management, I was quite surprised. What was the reason behind it? Was there sincerity at all behind the decision? Was it done only because of Gangnam Style‘s popularity?
People still continue to complain about MoMusume’s change in style. Quite frankly, I’m still very, very confused why. I can understand not liking the songs or whatever, but disliking Morning Musume just because they are experimenting with a new style is just plain ridiculous. I don’t know if people have noticed, but pop is a broad genre. Add a sweet guitar riff, you’ve got pop-rock. Add an awesome electronic beat, and you have electro-pop. Add a fun brass instrument, you have jazz-pop. Fact of the matter is, Morning Musume/Tsunku tried out this new type of pop and they were extremely successful. So, Tsunku’s decided to roll with that. What’s so bad about that?
