Oh, hey there. It’s almost July isn’t it? Whoops. @___@ Either way, welcome to the May edition of The K-pop Round Up! It was a month of Indie releases and a couple mainstream whores. So, let’s get started, right?
Morning Musume’s newest single has people going PSYCHOTIC. Chairs are flying, fists are being thrown, and hair is being pulled.
Okay, maybe not really, but it might as well be true! I’ve never seen so much talk about a single since…since…eh, I don’t even know! Period blood is being splattered all over the face of the interwebs. People like it, people hate it, people ADORE it, people DESPISE it–I don’t even know what’s what anymore! But you know what time it is?
ADVENTURE TIME!–ahem, I mean. It’s time for Kio’s take on it. Get ready for a long, unnecessary post on what I think about Morning Musume’s 50th single.
After graduations, many of our beloved Hello! Project members move on with their lives–which means plenty of dating, marriage, and pregnancy announcements! Ai Kago announced she was married and pregnant back in December of 2011. After a couple months, she released this picture, showing that she is doing well in her pregnancy:
This post was originally saved for many different topics I have saved, but this was something that really caught my eye. Plus, it’s been popping up all around the blogosphere. Rino Sashihara, a recent success in AKB, has been smacked in the face with a huge scandal that has caused her to be taken out of AKB48 and transferred to HKT48.
On June 8th and 9th, Berryz Koubou came to AnimeNEXT in Somerset, New Jersey. Being a gigantic Berryz fan since the age of 10 and a resident of New Jersey, you know I was there. It was my first trip to North Jersey, my first convention, and my first concert attendance. Not only that, it’s my favorite idol group of all time. It was also the most amazing experience of my life.
Sorry in advance if any pictures are different in consistency. I was using so many different things to take photos.
Anybody who has been lurking around my blog for a while knows I don’t do this–actually, I don’t think I’ve ever done this. But, guess what, folks? Wonder Girls are my absolute favorite K-pop group and I NEED to do this. It’s not possible for me to wait until the June edition of The K-pop Round Up because I need to dissect this PV like a pig. Plus, that’s way too far away! So, without further ado, let’s start my first PV Review: Like This by Wonder Girls.
With summer nearing and the AnimeNEXT convention just a week away, I’m raring to go–and so is Hello! Project. Most of our chicas have something set to release, so let’s start, shall we? (click title)
