I’m sure you’ve seen this before, wherever it may be. A list of hopes, predictions, & fears for the upcoming year. Of course, mine is based on Hello! Project. So, here we go: my hopes, fears, and predictions for H!P 2011!!
So it’s been a year since we last saw Koharu in Morning Musume. I made a nice OPV as a tribute to her.
With MoMusu’s 11th album released, I’ve got to get crackin’ on reviewing their other one! Here is my review of Morning Musume’s 10th album, 10 MY ME, released on March 17th, 2010. My favorite songs are bolded.
So yeah, this is late. What else is new? Lol. So today, I’m going through that hyper child’s last H!P photobook. She graduated back in December with a tragic leave. So who is this beautiful princess?
Okay! So today we will be exploring the wonderful world of ballads in the H!P world. It’s tough to make a good ballad. There has to be good replay value, the lyrics must be addicting, and most importantly, the vocals must be phenomenal. And now, I have you the 7th installment to the Top! Series: The Best Hello! Project Ballads (of all time).
WOO! Finally, another Top! Series post. This is like, super old so all the singles are as of Nanchatte Renai. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the 6th Top! Series: Favorite Morning Musume Singles (of all time).

While I was away, there was a ridiculous amount of PVs that shot right out of H!P’s ass. I am posting them all below with a little mini-review. Let’s begin!
S/mileage – Suki Chan
Suki Chan is S/mileage’s 3rd indie single. It was released back in November, but the PV came out this past month.
Okay so. I don’t really know. I’m kinda on the fence about the song and PV. I only like the chorus of the song. Nothing else about it stand out in my mind. It just…bores me. I dunno. It feels like they’re rushing through their singles quite a bit. Asu wa Deeto was the only song I really like by them. Hm. As for the PV, I’m not really sure either. It’s kinda like aMa no Jaku in the sense they made the girl do totally random things. Yuuka was hand-washing a shirt like she was in the 1940s. Wada-chan is over there baking a random cake. Kanon is…sewing? o.o And Sakichi is riding a bike? @_@ The only thing I really like is the set of where they’re dancing and their outfits…when they’re dancing. The other outfits make them look 5 years younger than their age.
Guardians4 – Going On!
Going On! is Guardians4’s newest single that was released on January 20th.
I don’t know why everyone keeps bugging about the outfits. I love the yellow. Anyway, the PV starts out like every Japanese PV might as well start out–retarded J dudes in animal suits. Typical Japan huh? ;) Okay, so Shugo Chara! music is really starting to annoy me. The “watashi no kokoro wa anrokku!” in every damn song is getting OLD. I’m getting tired of it verrrry quickly. It’s like…do you plan on writing your lyrics about anything else in the series? Just the goddamn egg? The song and PV is very boring. The song keeps dragging on and on and it’s way too slow. It really doesn’t compare to PARTY TIME–in which I like ALOT better. The PV just keeps alternating from dancing with dumbasses on the left to close-up shots to headphones. AND the damn anime shots. Which really annoys me. Whatever the hell they coordinators were thinking, PARTY TIME’s a lot better.
Buono! – Our Songs
Our Songs is the 10th single released by Buono! on February 3rd, 2010.
Ah, Buono! My sweet, sweet Buono! I wanted to get this for my best friend’s 14th birthday, she would’ve loved it, and especially loved that Miyabi’s hair is now long again. But, you know, my parents are a sack of bastard shit. Anyway, I absolutely love the song. The outfits are my favorite as well! I love them especially because Momoko has a curse word on her shirt! =X Wtf am I kidding? Momo always has curse words on her shirt xD
Erina Mano – Haru no Arashi
Haru no Arashi will be Plastic Hair’s 6th single, scheduled to release February 24th, 2010.
… It might just be the fumes from the cleaning products in the bathroom but I like this song. It’s probably the second time I’ve ever said that I like a Mano song. The song is honestly inviting. It has a pretty and gentle vibe about it. The PV is boring as any other Mano PV. But, I’m surprisingly surprised by the song. Good job to the composers.
Morning Musume – Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai
Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai was Morning Musume’s 42nd single that released on February 10th, 2010. It was the first single without Koharu Kusumi.
Am I the only person in the world that hates the PV? Lol. I’m sorry, I just expected sooo much more. With it being the first single without Koha, I would think they wanted to really woo those Koha fans. They might’ve, but not for me. I really love this song, I was hooked on it as soon as the radio rip surfaced. But there’s so much wrong with this PV, it’s not even funny. Don’t agree? Fine, but still, listen to my thoughts =) . Kay so, first off: THOSE OUTFITS ARE HIDEOUS. They look like Tsunku pulled it right out of Osaka Koi no Uta. This song needed fashionable outfits like Namida no Iro or Dakishimete Dakishimete. But, poof, nothing. Secondly, the PV is honestly low-budget. It may not look it, but all they needed was a place to dance and a catwalk. >_> Lastly, nothing matched. With the translated title being: What’s Wrong With Women Standing Out?, you would’ve thought there’d be a story to it. Like the girls going through their own problems with people turning them down or something. Or the girls trying to be different but just being ridiculed in the end. But what do we get? Nada. Nothing. Zero. Seriously, they couldn’t have put more thought into it?
Well there goes my catch-up news. Lol. Sorry I was gone for SUCH a long time. I feel bad Dx . My internet was down for a while then I couldn’t get myself to write. Damn lazy-ness. Well, till the next post, ~Kio.
(You can see Koharu in the middle with the long red jacket and big golden bow around her waist)
December 6th, 2009 marked the end of Morning Musume’s longest stable line-up of all time(not to mention, the line-up I started listening with). Koharu Kusumi, the only seventh generation member of Morning Musume, graduated from Hello! Project. The final day of the 9Smile Concert Tour was a sad one–for members and fans alike. Even Yuko Nakazawa, Kaori Iida, and a reported Hitomi Yoshizawa attended the event.
(This picture broke my heart…look at Junni in the background…)
With the crowd full of red glowingsticks, audience members chanting her name, Koharu gave her last speech and sang Furusato as her solo(courtesy of H!O):
After Rainbow Pink, the audience does a 3 minute Koharu Chant.
Koharu runs back on to the stage.
Koharu: Thank you everyone!!! Wow!!! It’s completely red! (Glow sticks) Thank you. Thank you very much for the warm Koharu call!
Thank you! Everyone in the 2nd floor, thank you too!
I, Kusumi Koharu, on today, Decemeber 6th would be graduating from Morning Musume and Hello! Project.
Everyone who has supported Kusumi Koharu of Morning Musume, I thank you from the depth of my heart!
(Daijou daijou Junni. Koharu will be okay. <3`)
Even if I didn't like Koharu–not even for a second–I think Morning Musume will be way different. Koharu won't be there on the TV shows to burst out something totally random. Koharu won't be there to have trouble on dance moves and have Eri help her. Koharu won't be there to get everyone frustrated but end up laughing 2 minutes later. But I do believe Koharu will make a gorgeous model–although Tsunku should give up that solo career shit. xD; Well anyway, Koharu, take care of yourself and keep in contact with your formers. Have fun with love <3;
Part 2 of my catch-up collection. Enjoy~
Saki Nakajima will be releasing her 1st photobook in just a few days on December 9th. It will be called NACKY. I am incredibly happy about this, especially with NakaSaki being one of my favorite C-uties! Now all that’s left is Chisa!!
1. Bravo ☆ Bravo
2. -Winter Story-
3. Bravo ☆ Bravo

8. Santa n Saxophone
9. Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo
10. Matsuge no Saki ni Kimi ga Iru
11. Oyasumi nasai
12. Mano Piano (Album Version)
Along with Buono!’s single, Erina Mano will be releasing her 1st album on December 16th, 2009. The album will consist of all her singles from Mano Piano to Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo and 5 new tracks. It will release in both Regular and Limited editions. Oh, and is it just me or is she wearing the same outfit as she is on the Single V cover of Love & Peace? ._. Let’s just be glad Tsunku likes to recycle.
3. SHOCK! (Instrumental)
On January 6, 2010, C-ute will release their 11th major single. It will be entitled SHOCK!. The covers are above, with Airi placed strategically in the center. Now that they got rid of 2 members, they have no problem of pushing the other 4 members to the sides. Bitches.
1. Going On! [Guardians4]
2. Arigatou ~Ookiku Kansha~ (Shugo Chara Egg!)
3. Going On! (Instrumental)
4. Arigatou ~Ookiku Kansha~ (Instrumental)
Guardians4 will be releasing their 4th single, Going On! on January 27, 2010. The B-side will be handled be Shugo Chara Egg!. Going On! will become the new Shugo Chara! opening song.
It has been announced that Morning Musume’s 42nd single will be entitled Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai?–which translates to What’s Wrong with Women Standing Out?. It is set to release on February 10th, 2010. It will also be the first single without Koharu Kusumi. Her graduation date is also dangerously close.
On February 24th, 2010, it has been announced that Erina Mano will release her 6th major single, Haru no Arashi. No other news on it yet.
