I have to–no, I MUST–blow the dust off my keyboard to knock some sense into the fools of the internet who insist that K-pop is the holy grail of all music and that Psy is some Illuminati warrior set out to destroy their blissful ideals of how K-pop is “supposed” to be.
Wait, what month is it? Oh yeah, April. Honestly, January and February were filled with some really… mentionable releases. Whether they were really good or really bad, almost every song on this list had to be mentioned for one reason or another. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity and let 2014’s start K-pop music fly by! Enjoy the joint January and February edition of The K-pop Round Up!
Ever since the turn of the year, there has been an uproar among the K-pop net-fandom(as there always is). A plethora of girl groups have deemed it fit to comeback with overly suggestive and sexual manifestations. Skin-tight black outfits are now the trend, my friend. But, the question(s) here is(are), what’s so wrong about it? If it’s just a trend, is the internet just being overly sensitive about it or is there really a problem here?
I know it’s horribly late into January, but who cares! You’re never to late to enjoy some delectable K-pop goodness! November was quite a packed month for comebacks, even some more that I didn’t include in here for different reasons. I was able to squeeze December into the post since not much happened. Well, enjoy the jointed November and December edition of The K-pop Round Up!
This year’s K-pop list was rather short compared to otheryears. It might have been because I missed nearly half of the year. Either way, I had to narrow the good K-pop to ten(well, thirteen in all) songs for my Top 10 Favorite K-pop Songs of 2013! Let’s begin!
Another one!? It can’t be. But it is! Welcome to the K-pop edition of Under A Spell 2013 Year-End Awards where I celebrate all the good K-pop had to offer this year! Shall we!? You’re caught under the spell now. Sorry!
When I first saw this in my Site Stats, I just passed it over. I mean, there have been multiple times in which weirdos are looking for Sayumi Michishige & Risako Sugaya nudes(c’mon, it’s never gonna happen). But I really couldn’t overlook it when Idolminded released this article.
September 2013 was the worst K-pop month in the world. There was literally nothing going on! But this month is filled with hearty comebacks and artists that make my mouth water. Welcome to the October 2013 edition of The K-pop Round Up!
