Damn you, idiots.

Unfortunately, WordPress decided not to save an almost finished draft of this post and verizon thought it’d be clever to muck up my Internet for what felt like weeks–which are the reasons why I haven’t posted about our Hello! Project chicas in a while. Well, reluctantly, I fought the urge to shoot an innocent passerby and got off my ass and retyped the shit. Damn you, idiots. Damn you.

Erina Mano’s second track on her most recent single, Doki Doki Baby / Tasogare Kousaten, has finally released a PV–even if this single was released on February 22nd. It’s an easy-on-the-ears mid-tempo song with a nice piano(you know I like my pianos). The “mini-drama”(truly, just the story, stupid H!P) of the PV seems to be some sort of love story between Mano and some dude who looks 10 years older than her. And wait…did someone set Mano up with some singing lessons? They worked. She needs to open her throat a bit more though–she sounds like Rika Ishikawa .__. The PV has too many long one-shots and limited settings. But overall, it’s not as weird as Doki Doki Baby and the song is actually nice to listen to.

Above is the PV to Berryz’ upcoming single, Be Genki <Naseba Naru!>, released on March 21st and the Single V released on April 4th. The only phrase that sums up my opinion of this single is, What is this? Seriously. The song and the image they’re trying to portray don’t match, like…at all. The song is way upbeat, but they’re trying to be all cool and sexy. It makes no sense. The only plus sides of this PV are the shots and our Berryz. They’re extremely well done and the lighting & effects are great. The girls look stunning as well. Promotional photos, tracklisting, and covers are below.

01. Be Genki <Naseba Naru!>

02. Mou, Kodomo ja nai Watashi na no ni…

03. Be Genki <Naseba Naru!>

Note: Maasa needs at least some bangs. Y U NO CUT YO HAIR, MAASA???

Note2: I love Limited C. I would buy this just to see that cover in my hands XD

Above is the PV to Risa’s graduation single, Renai Hunter. When I first heard the song, I wasn’t very impressed. It didn’t sound any different from the music they’ve been releasing with the kyuukies & jyuukies. Everyone seemed to be over-the-moon for the outfits, but to me, it just looks like a bunch of tin foil. I’m also turned off by this PV, unfortunately–I wanted to like it, but just couldn’t. The dance doesn’t look at all intricate and the settings are very bland. It just looks like a downgraded version of Only you. And what happened to their hairstyles?? I’m sitting here like, “Why do they look so boring..??” when all their hair is straight down. What happened to the hairstyles on the covers? It would’ve looked so much better. Not as impressive as Takahashi’s grad. single, but I can see management at least tried. The single released just the other day, April 11th, and debuted at #3. Tracklisting, covers, and promos are below.

01. Renai Hunter

02. Watashi ga ite Kimi ga Iru

03. Renai Hunter (Instrumental)

The PV to C-ute’s April 18th single, Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku, is above. Its Single V is set to release a week after on April 25th. So yes, this is a ballad. Now…how do the red and black outfits blend into the song? That’s right, they don’t. I don’t get why they have super hardcore-looking outfits on when they barely dance. I don’t even see the need for a dance shot, either. It’s a ballad, come on. Of course, Airi is the lead with the story line. Like seriously. Did they forget that Maimi is leader and is already 20? I’d be much more satisfied if they gave her a little more attention. Sigh. The PV is weak but the song isn’t half bad. Promotional pictures, covers, and tracklist below.

01. Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku

02. Ai wa Itsumo Itsumo

03. Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku (Instrumental)

Note: Limited B ~ F contain a solo track of the title track by each member.

Note2: I absolutely love love love love loveeeee the cover outfits.

Dot Bikini is S/mileage’s upcoming single, ready to release on May 2nd. The PV is above and hm… Is Tsunku trying to go AKB-style or something?  Like, come on. More than half of the members are younger than me and they’re dancing nearly naked. Sigh. But I guess it’s not so bad because AKB dances in actual bikinis; I’m quite glad that the girls were covered up a bit. All of them get equal screen time, and the original members get the special attention when necessary. Unfortunately, S/mileage’s PVs lately have had the same lacking formula: dance shot, close ups, altogether shot, and some silly nonsense. Switch it up, maybe? Please? Also, is it just me or is it kind of early for a summer single? It’ll only be early May when this releases, and by then, it’s just starting to get hot. C-ute did a perfect spring transitioning single–S/mileage, not so much. Hey, at least this is the most ear appealing song I’ve heard since Shortcut. Tracklisting, covers, and promo pictures are below.

01. Dot Bikini

02. Koibito wa Kokoro no Ouen Dan

03. Dot Bikini (Instrumental)

01. Dot Bikini

02. Smile Blues

03. Dot Bikini (Instrumental)

I haven’t forgotten about K-pop Round-Up! No worries! Be on the lookout. Liking the new layout? I decided to go with simplistic spring as a theme. Plus, I really wanted to use Captain in the header <3 Only about two more months until Berryz make their way to Jersey. Don’t forget about it East Coast–I wanna see you there! <3
